Crave Culinaire Promotes Sorenson to Chef de Cuisine

Bonita Springs, Florida, August 12th, 2021– Prominent Southwest Florida caterer, Crave Culinaire, announces that Chef Sam Sorenson has been promoted to Chef de Cuisine this month. The upscale caterer has been inspiring our community through their culinary masterpieces, a top-level staff and breathtaking event designs since 2013. Together with its sister company, Virtual Venue SWFL and trusted event partners, Team Crave has brought back the spirit of celebrations post-pandemic through in-person, virtual and hybrid events.

A member of the Crave team for three years, Sorenson, has continued to wow crowds with his outstanding dishes, having accepted the position of Executive Sous Chef in 2020 and now most recently, the prestigious title of Chef de Cuisine. With a strong background of culinary knowledge, combined with the guidance of Iron Chef and Top Chef Alums, Sorenson has perfected his skills, and has worked in various kitchens in New York, including Buddakan, Ai Fiori, Terroir Tribeca and others prior to making his way to Southwest Florida. In his new role with Crave Culinaire, Sorenson will continue to lead the culinary team to success through event creativity and innovation, while providing on-site training and leadership. He is passionate about fermentation brewing, as well a visual arts, and when he’s not in the kitchen, he enjoys thrifting with his wife and exploring our local wildlife.
