Bonita Springs, Florida, March 30th, 2021– Innovative Southwest Florida caterer, Crave Culinaire, announces the promotion of Chef Joshua Cook into a hybrid role of Corporate Sales & Development Manager just last month. Since 2013, the caterer has been wowing crowds with immaculate presentation, breaking boundaries with exquisite cuisine and most recently, pivoting operations to a more virtual platform through its sister company, Virtual Venue Naples. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Crave Culinaire has been utilizing its resources to cater to a variety of small in-person gatherings, virtual and hybrid events in order to save celebrations for individuals, businesses and charity organizations.
Cook began his career nearly 24 years ago, beginning his culinary roots in catering. Cook has since gained knowledge of catering and restaurants, through leadership roles most recently including Sous Chef, Executive Chef and Director of Food & Beverage at Amavida Living in Ft. Myers and Physicians Regional in Naples. Cook also comes to Crave with the knowledge of managing the construction, sales and opening of multiple restaurants, as well as multi-unit operations. Propelling himself through the ranks, Cook was proud to be recognized as a Senior Sous Chef with Crave Culinaire, joining the team in 2014. With his expert managerial skills combined with his experience in the industry, Cook now takes on the Corporate Sales & Development Manager role with Team Crave. In his new role, Cook will focus on culinary development and on forming partnerships with event planners, event venues, luxury rental properties, hotels, private aviation services, yacht charters and more to bring the Crave
Culinaire experience to clients desiring nothing but the finest in food, wine, service and presentation.
Crave Culinaire (www.craveculinaire.com) prides itself on thinking outside the box when it comes to unique culinary creations. Through expert leadership by Chef Brian Roland and Nicole Roland, the team presents some of the most impressive dishes in Southwest Florida. Together with Virtual Venue Naples, the team has been able to bring back celebrations in a healthy way through small on-location gatherings, virtual events and hybrid events, geared toward providing the safest, most successful experience possible.
The Rolands speak about Cook and his outstanding perseverance.
“Through years of hard work, dedication and a passion for his craft, Joshua [Cook] has grown into the leader he is today. We are extremely proud of his continued accomplishments and have no doubt that he will excel in this new role,” they say.
Cook is also excited for this new opportunity.
“Working with Crave [Culinaire] has taught me so much and I have grown to become the chef I am today as a result of the team’s dynamic. I am looking forward to embracing this new role and continuing to grow with the team,” he explains.
